Last year I was lucky enough to get my hands on two of the Caroline Hirons x Hall of Fame Kits and I decided to put a few bits aside for Winter when my skin would really appreciate them. Well the season is well and truly upon us, and I've just used up a heap of products and I've got some gaps to fill - so I'm finally letting myself open these goodies! ⁠

Balms are not usually my cleanser of choice (I'm a gel or cream girl at heart) but if there was one balm that was going to change my mind this might just be it... 💛⁠

The @alphahskincare Melting Moment Cleansing Balm⁠ is soft and buttery, melts quickly into an oil that powers through makeup and SPF, but most importantly, it rinses away completely clean. And it leaves my skin feeling so incredibly soft and smooth. Not sure what more I can ask for really...⁠

The best toner for combo skin. If your skin is feeling temperamental in this weather and doesn't know if it's coming or going, you need to try this. Soothing, calming and balancing. ⁠

I'm still fairly new to this serum, I started using it a while ago and then switched it out but I'm back now and I'll be using it consistently for a few weeks before deciding what I think.⁠

If we’re going to take some positives from the last few years I definitely have to credit all the lockdowns with reigniting my love for reading 📚

These are almost all the books I’ve read this year (minus a couple of the audiobooks) and I’ve written a blog post with a little review and rating of each in case you were on the lookout for a new read. It’s mostly mystery books with a few romance and non-fictions thrown in for good measure 😆

I just finished my @jordansamuelskin Hydrate Mist and as much as I loved it, especially over the Summer (and will repurchase in the future), I wanted something with a bit more 'oomph' now that Winter is here and my skin has really dried out. I couldn't decide between these two so I ordered both 🙃⁠

A nourishing, antioxidant-rich mist with Tea Extract, Aloe Vera, Coconut Water, and Prebiotics to help balance the surface of the skin. Acts as a toner, primer and hydrating setting spray in one.⁠

An incredibly fine mist with White Leaf Tea Water and Amino Acids to strengthen the skin's moisture barrier. I've used this one a few times so far and really like it.⁠
